I am an experienced, authorised Marriage Celebrant based on the mid-north coast of NSW in the tranquil, little seaside village of Wallabi Point, about 20 km from Taree in the beautiful Manning Valley.
Since being registered in 2007, I have had the great honour and pleasure of performing hundreds of life's special ceremonies in a variety of stunning settings in our local area, from Port Macquarie in the north, to Boomerang Beach in the south and inland to Gloucester. I've also been fortunate enough to venture further afield and conduct ceremonies in Newcastle, the Central Coast, Sydney, Canberra, Coffs Harbour, Lismore and Perth.
Having recently retired from a 35 year career as a primary school teacher, I bring a wealth of skills that blend perfectly with my work as a Marriage Celebrant. Both careers have a strong base in working cohesively and compassionately with others.
I am a thorough professional and have a clear understanding of my legal obligations. I have the creativity and the skills to write and perform a beautiful, personal and unique ceremony for you.
My love of travel and adventuring through Asia have influenced many aspects of my life, including my business name, 'Double Happiness Ceremonies for the Soul.' Double Happiness is the beautiful Chinese character for marriage.
